Hooligan , a French-Midwestern restaurant in Logan Square, got its City of Chicago food license on September 11, 2026. It is a bistro that calls its cooking "Third Coast Contemporary," pairing French technique with Great Lakes ingredients and traditions. It is the first standalone restaurant from the team that ran the Hooligan stall at Time Out Market in Fulton Market. Early menu previews include chicken liver parfait, oysters and a whitefish gumbo. It expects to open fall 2026. It also has a license to serve alcohol on site. Newly licensed spots often soft-open first, so check their listing or call ahead before you go.
