The Buildout Sheet

Bid the clean before the drywall goes up.

Every commercial tenant improvement starts with a building permit — filed weeks or months before the final clean is awarded. We read Seattle's permit record every day and send you one exclusive weekly sheet of new build-outs in your metro: the scope, the size, the address, and a link to the record.

Why permits

The lead is public. The timing is the edge.

A general contractor picks the post-construction cleaner late, and often from a short list of firms already in the rolodex. By the time a build-out shows up on a job board or someone posts it, that decision is close. The permit fires first. Get on the GC's radar during construction and you are quoting before the short list forms.

How it works

Three steps, every week

  1. We read the permit record

Every new non-residential building permit in your metro — the office, retail, medical, and industrial build-outs that need a final clean.

  2. We package the job

Scope, estimated project size, class and type, the site address, the permit link, and the general contractor when the record names one.

  3. You reach out first

One sheet a week, exclusive to your metro. You work the list while the build-out is underway — not after the clean is booked.

On every sheet

What each build-out gives you

  • The work scope, in the permit's own words — so you know if it is your kind of job.
  • The estimated project size, to sanity-check the square footage before you bid.
  • The site address and the class of work: commercial, institutional, or industrial.
  • The general contractor's name, when the public record lists one.
  • A link straight to the SDCI permit, so you can verify every row yourself.
