How do I reach you?

Email support@themorningsheet.com. The founder reads every message. Write from the email address on your account if you can, or tell us that address, so we can find your account. You don't need to sign in first, so this works when you are locked out too.

When am I charged?

  • Your first month is free and needs no card. We charge nothing unless you subscribe.
  • If you subscribe during the free month, your first charge comes when the free month ends, or right away if fewer than two days of it remain. After that, your subscription renews each month on your billing date until you cancel.
  • When you add a county or a line, we charge the prorated difference for the rest of your billing period at once. The added coverage starts when that payment goes through.
  • If a renewal payment fails, you keep your seat while we retry the card. If the retries don't succeed, your subscription ends, along with your access and your seats.

Your price depends on the tiers, verticals, and counties you pick, and you see it before you subscribe. Current prices are on the pricing page. Stripe processes every payment, and we never store your full card number.

What is MORNINGSHEET on my card statement?

MORNINGSHEET is how our subscription charges appear on card statements. It is The Morning Sheet, the business lead service at themorningsheet.com. If you don't recognize a charge, email support@themorningsheet.com with its date and amount, and we will look it up. Banks and card issuers can reach us at the same address.

How do I update my card, see invoices, or cancel?

In the app, open Settings and choose Manage billing. It opens your billing page at Stripe, where you can change your card, see past invoices, and cancel. If you are signed out, the Settings link asks you to sign in first and then takes you there.

On a team account, your team admin manages billing. If you are on a free month and have not subscribed, there is no card on file and nothing to cancel, because the free month ends on its own. After a subscription ends, Settings no longer shows Manage billing, so email us for a past invoice. You can also cancel by emailing support@themorningsheet.com.

What happens when I cancel? Can I get a refund?

Canceling stops your next renewal. Your access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for, and we don't charge you again after that.

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, including for partial billing periods after a cancellation. Because you can cancel at any time to stop the next renewal, you are never locked into a future month. If the law requires us to give a refund, we will. The full wording is in the Terms of Service under Subscriptions, billing & cancellation and Refunds.

I can't sign in. What should I do?

MorningSheet has no passwords. On the sign-in page, enter the email on your account and we email you a sign-in link. Each link works once, for 15 minutes. If that email is a Google account, you can choose Continue with Google instead.

If the email doesn't arrive:

  • Search your inbox for "Sign in to MorningSheet" from [email protected].
  • Check spam, junk, and Promotions. Work email can hold mail from a new sender for a few minutes.
  • Ask for a new link on the sign-in page and open the newest email. A link that has expired or was already used won't sign you in.
  • If you can no longer open the inbox on your account, email support@themorningsheet.com from another address and tell us the email on the account.

A lead looks wrong. What should I do?

Mark it Not a fit with the X on the lead, then pick a reason, such as Inaccurate info, or choose Just hide. The lead leaves your feed, and we record the reason you picked. On a lead's own page, "Did you reach them?" also takes Wrong number and Closed or not real. If the problem is something else, email support@themorningsheet.com with the business name.

How do I correct or remove my business?

If you run a business we list, or you are named in a public record we use, you can ask us to correct your information or remove it from MorningSheet. Email privacy@themorningsheet.com with the business name and address. We keep removed records out of future updates. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle these requests. If a page on this site names your business and gets something wrong, you can also email support@themorningsheet.com with a link to the page.

If you are a customer and want to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, email privacy@themorningsheet.com from the address on your account. The Privacy Policy covers these rights.

Where can I read more?

The FAQ answers common questions about leads, exclusivity, and pricing. The Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy hold the full rules for subscriptions, billing, and your data. How we work explains where the leads come from.
