Holy Peño , a halal Mexican restaurant in Chicago, got its City of Chicago food license on September 2, 2026. It is a fully halal Mexican fast-casual counter where guests build burritos, bowls, tacos and quesadillas with chicken, steak or shrimp. It is the brand's first Chicago location, after the original opened in Bridgeview in December 2025, and an Orland Park location was announced in September 2026.
